UX strategy facilitation for product companies

Build a product advantage your competitors can’t copy by putting the customer back at the centre of how you build, decide, and envision the future.

Product teams have never shipped faster, and deciding what to ship has never mattered more. KSLV helps your team answer the question by refocusing the work on customer-centric goals and user experience strategy. When everyone ships at the speed of light, the experience of using your product becomes the one advantage nobody can replicate.

KSLV: Build a product advantage your competitors can’t copy

Where the problem usually is

“What is worth building?” is the hardest question in a product company, and the one with the least support behind it. Answering it well takes a deep, shared understanding of your customers’ current experience, and a team aligned around a cohesive vision of how that experience should improve in the long run. In most companies, neither exists, so teams answer it with instinct, top-down roadmap decisions, and sales pressure: whatever the loudest customer demanded this quarter.

The problem mainly comes from two habits most product companies share:

When a company can build faster than it can decide what customer value to build towards, the product development team ends up building guesses, release after release. A missed bet costs development time, budget, and team morale. The product stays easy to copy, because the roadmap keeps filling with what is easy and fast to build. But this low-hanging fruit rarely adds up to a delightful product that provides real value to your customers. The team stays busy while the company stands still.

All of it is fixable: locally, on the level of a single project, or globally, on the level of team culture and the company’s mindset behind product development. The missing pieces of a customer-centric approach can be built on purpose.

That is the work KSLV facilitates.

Who you’ll be working with

KSLV is a small consulting and facilitation practice that puts the customer back at the centre of how you build, decide, and envision the future. It helps organisations move from feature-driven to experience-driven product development.

My name is Kyrylo Slavetski, and I’m the founder of KSLV. I’ve spent twenty years building design and research teams, leading UX in product companies, and refocusing organisations on their users and customers. All KSLV services are built around the kind of work I’ve watched succeed many times.

Four ways to work together

Which of the formats fits depends on the size of the question in front of you.

Where this gets you

The work is built to leave your team self-sufficient: by the end, they own the direction, the goals, and the way of working, and keep all of it going without KSLV. Development budget goes to what moves the business, and releases get evaluated by whether they actually changed customer behaviour for the better. The product develops an experience advantage a competitor can’t reproduce by copying a feature.

Start with a conversation

Thirty minutes is usually enough to know whether there’s a fit. I’ll ask about your company, your product, and what’s standing between you and growth. You’ll get a straight recommendation: one of the four formats, or nothing at all for now.
