About KSLV

KSLV is a UX strategy consulting and facilitation practice I started in 2026 after twenty years of doing UX leadership work in different modes — in-house and agency product designer, co-founder of a design consultancy for SaaS and enterprise products, director of UX inside product companies, and now back to consulting on terms that let me focus on the work I find most exciting.

About KSLV

My name is Kyrylo Slavetski, I’m the founder of KSLV. I wanted a small practice with a clear shape. Three services — the Programme, the Workshop, the Residency — each tuned to a specific situation a product company finds itself in. A small number of clients at a time, so the work gets the attention it needs.

Why KSLV

The shape isn’t accidental. Strategic UX work fails when it gets squeezed into corners — half-day workshops bolted onto an existing roadmap, “embedded” researchers who never get to influence direction, design strategy reduced to a slide in someone else’s deck. KSLV is built around the shape of work that I’ve watched succeed, and tuned to keep out the conditions I’ve watched it fail under.

Building products has never been easier. Anyone can ship quickly now. And whatever you charge, someone will always undercut you on price. What’s left as a real differentiator is the experience of using the product itself. This differentiation comes from sustained, deliberate work: understanding your customers deeply, building a clear picture of where their experience needs to go, and aligning the company behind getting there. That’s the work KSLV exists to help you do.

How I work

I take a small number of engagements at a time, mostly because the work is dense and depends on real attention. I work in person where the format calls for it — the Programme, the Workshop — and remotely where it makes more sense, like the Residency and the coaching between sessions. I’m based in Rotterdam, and most of my clients are in Europe, though I’ve worked further afield when the fit was right.

I don’t take on competing clients in the same product category. I prefer engagements where I can say no when something isn’t a fit. And I’d rather have a good conversation about what your team actually needs than win an engagement that wasn’t right in the first place.
